Stonemill Hobby started from a genuine love of the hobby and has grown into something much bigger. What began with selling Pokémon cards through live streams and online marketplaces is becoming a dedicated online card shop built around collectors.

Our goal isn’t simply to sell cards. We want to build a place collectors actually enjoy coming back to.

Pokémon Singles for Every Type of Collector

One of the biggest focuses at Stonemill Hobby is our growing selection of Pokémon singles.

Not every collector is looking for the same thing.

Some are chasing a major card they’ve wanted for years. Others are trying to finish the last 20 cards in a binder. Some collectors love vintage Pokémon cards, while others are building the newest sets as soon as they release.

We want Stonemill Hobby to serve all of them.

That means building an inventory ranging from affordable binder cards and set-builder singles to vintage cards, modern hits, and higher-end chase cards.

Instead of forcing collectors to purchase pack after pack hoping to pull the card they need, our goal is to make it easy to search our inventory and find exactly what’s missing from their collection.

Built With Set Builders in Mind

Set building is one of our favorite parts of the Pokémon TCG hobby, and it's an area we want Stonemill Hobby to become known for.

A collector shouldn't have to place five different orders just to finish a binder.

We're continually adding lower-priced Pokémon singles alongside our showcase cards so collectors can grab the big card they've been looking for while also filling in the commons, uncommons, holos, reverse holos, and other cards they still need.

As our inventory grows, we want Stonemill Hobby to become a destination where you can make meaningful progress toward completing an entire Pokémon set in a single order.

Modern Hits, Chase Cards and Vintage Pokémon Cards

Of course, sometimes you're not trying to finish a set.

Sometimes you just want the card.

We're building our Showcase selection around the more exciting side of collecting: illustration rares, special illustration rares, alternate arts, vintage holos, sought-after promos, and other Pokémon chase cards.

We also believe great cards should be priced competitively.

As Stonemill Hobby grows, one of our goals is to consistently offer compelling prices on higher-end cards while maintaining a huge selection of affordable singles for collectors who want to fill out their binders.

A Pokémon Card Shop Built Online

Stonemill Hobby isn't trying to recreate a traditional card shop on a website.

We're building an online-first Pokémon card business.

That means taking advantage of everything an online store can do well: searchable inventory, detailed collections, easy set browsing, competitive pricing, frequent inventory additions, and the ability to serve Pokémon collectors well beyond our home base in South Carolina.

At the same time, we don't want to lose the personal experience that makes a great local card shop special.

Buying collections also helps us accomplish another major goal: constantly bringing different cards into the store.

But StonemillHobby.com represents the next stage of the business.

We're building a home for Stonemill Hobby where collectors can browse our entire available inventory, discover newly added cards, shop at their own pace, and come back regularly as the selection grows.

We're still early in that process.

Our inventory will continue getting bigger. The website will continue improving. New collections and features will be added. And we'll keep learning from what our customers actually want from an online Pokémon card shop.
